ve been sick for about a week and a half, but it has been
a turning point in my life. what Grace!

...for clients. :) Another thankful post.

I am teaching English as a means of earning some extra pocket money.
in hopes of thwarting the seeemingly inevitable diminishing of the bank account

to the negative.

at the moment i only have two private clients. will possibly increase that number to three, the max. i can take during the school semester.

and...although i had to get up before noon this saturday morning,

once i arrived at his house and we got going, i was sooo happy to have come.

and disappointed that i was 20 minutes late because of the earliness.

so i am thankful for clients. not just because of the pocket money.

but also because it's fun. you get to know people-and in the case of today, their moms too!

Thanksgiving

I am looking forward to it this year. But that doesn't mean that I have to wait until then to recognize what I am thankful for.


Oh so many things! Countless as the stars

framed by my night-window,

as the sand under by bed

carried from the playground

on the shrinking shoes of

roommate children.


I am thankful for words, and ears to hear them, and eyes to read them.

Through Word I came into existence. And it is Word that sustains me.

I am thankful for the word of the heart. Word that goes unspoken,

but is no less powerful (perhaps more...) than those that escape

the untrained tongue.

I am thankful that I have chosen a career path based on word, rooted in Word,

and through this powerful medium I hope to have a positive effect on the world.

I spend a lot of time trying to perfect the way I speak

so that I can consequently sing better.

I should spend more time allowing the word of my heart to be perfected.

sometimes you get to a point where you feel like you only have one thing going for you. and that one thing is made of glass. and hangs from the ceiling over a concrete floor.

you just hope to God the cord is secure.
